The Odyssey will focus on dynamic, practical strategies to:

  • Achieve real, person-centered, empowerment
  • Use data and measure relevant outcomes
  • Strengthen community-based approaches
  • Break down silos and foster collaboration

This annual event attracts more than 1000 attendees in the fields of county public health and social service providers, disability and aging service providers, caregiver support organizations, health and long-term care providers, home and community-based service providers, policy makers, housing providers, informal and quasi-formal service providers, parish nurses, advocacy organizations, volunteers and students and others in the fields of aging and disabilities. During the three days, we host dynamic keynote sessions, discipline-specific and general audience breakout sessions, awards presentation, an exhibit hall with more than 80 vendors and several special events.

We are seeking proposals from Minnesota-based professionals for workshops, open forums, roundtable discussions and poster sessions. We encourage presenters to be creative and submit original ideas on topics of your choice that fit into one of the four conference strategies. Proposals should address state initiatives, partnership development, coordination and training that focus on the people we serve.
