Insurance/ Financial Benefits

I want to remain independent!

I want to remain active and live in my community!

How did I ever have time to work!

Many seniors look forward to their retirement years as the time in which they can do the new things that have always wanted to do! Taking careful steps to plan for your financial future, and ensuring that you are accessing your benefits correctly is the key to maintain your independence.

Health Insurance, including Medicare, long-term care insurance, and prescription drug coverage and financial planning! All of these topics raise additional questions. They can be complex to understand.

But it doesn’t have to be! The Senior LinkAge Line® provides free health insurance counseling and referrals to resources for older adults and for people who are Medicare Beneficiaries of all ages.

This area of the MBA web site contains resources to about retirement, pensions, long-term care insurance, health care benefits and many other important topics to help you maintain your independence.

Part of maintaining your independence also includes finding information on your own.  The computer and the internet open a world of information.  If you feel like you want to learn about the internet, then Senior Surf Days is for you. Senior Surf Days is for beginners who want to learn about health care benefits and resources using the Internet.
