Communities For
A Lifetime
Useful resources
for community planners...
Transform 2010
is a project to prepare Minnesota for the coming
age wave of baby boomers. It is a partnership
between the Department of Human Services and the
Minnesota Board on Aging, the Department of Health
and other state agencies. Specifically, the
project is identifying the impacts of the aging of
Minnesota’s population on the state, and
developing a plan with both short- and long-term
goals to transform our infrastructures and
services, so that Minnesota can support a
permanent change in the age of the state’s
population.
One of the issues addressed in the Transform 2010
project is that Minnesota communities need to be
good places to grow old. Read more about
Transform 2010 and the
Final
Summary of the Transform 2010 Meetings that
were held throughout the state.
